Get Involved
This campaign can only be successful with the participation of a large number of people. There are a number of things that you can do to help with the campaign, and these are just for starters (any further suggestions or ideas would be most welcome!):
- Support the occupation!
- Donate to the campaign
- Write letters to your local newspaper
- Print and distribute Happy Valley posters (PDF [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] )
- Sign up to the announcement list to stay up to date and to learn about upcoming events and protests (see the sidebar)
- Contact and get involved in a local group that is working to stop the mine
- Make sure you know the issues around Happy Valley, coal-mining and climate change — spread the word!
